Schubert with one camera

Here is another one. Not a quartet but may be similar. Did I mention that I don't know much about classical music? More bloggers needed. But I think there is enough evidence that YouTube is worth some time with the search box.

Just one camera is ok with me. It is people like Jo Gedrych at Exeter TV c/o Life Bytes opposite the Odeon who would rather like a choice of shots and an edit budget and a sound engineer. This may never happen but there is enough on YouTube to roughly relate to what is happening in Exeter.

YouTube gets ready for Exeter Festival

Vibraphonic was a bit disappointing for new video recorded in Exeter. Searching on Youtube only finds a few rap performances. They look as if they were recorded on a mobile phone. There is a short from me of a Phoenix lunchtime lecture but that was only meant as a test.

The main Exeter festival is in June. One event will be a "homage to Elgar" in the cathedral.

It turns out that Youtube has a version of the Cello Concerto.

The other movements should be easy to find.

Maybe people will choose not to go because they can hear it on computer. But I don't think this is how it works. More videos would surely contribute something.
